Though India is booming and women have entered the workforce in droves, commuting in that country requires taking her dignity in her hands. Women are regularly harrassed and pinched and pushed and catcalled. In 4 major Indian cities, "Ladies Specials" have been introduced, to allow women to travel to work without this abuse.
